Composer/Improviser Gregory Hall has been performing weekly live concerts of compositional improvisation in the online world Second Life since March 2009, as well as a variety of “real-world” venues.  He holds degrees from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and the Curtis Institute of Music, where he studied with Ned Rorem.  He is an elected member of the American Composers Alliance, and has received commissions from the Music Teacher’s National Association (1991 and 2013), the Arcady Chamber Orchestra, etc., and has had many works performed and reviewed in the U.S. and abroad.  He is a Fellow of the Ucross Foundation, and is listed in Marquis’ Who’sWho in America.
